Everything the booth does

Written plainly, because half of this page exists to stop people expecting things no phone browser can do. Where something is not possible, it says so.

Capture or upload

The camera opens at the exact shape of the frame’s photo window, front camera first with a flip to the back. Or pick a photo already on the device and drag and pinch it into place — the same preview either way.

Frames the organiser designs

Portrait and landscape sets, as many as you like. A guest chooses the shape, then the frame, and the photo appears inside it immediately — no guessing what it will look like.

Native sharing

One tap opens the phone’s own share sheet with the finished image attached: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, Messages — whatever that phone has.

Captions and hashtags

Pre-written by the organiser and dropped in the box for the guest, who can rewrite any of it before posting. On the apps that ignore attached text, Copy caption puts it on the clipboard.

Guest details, with consent

Name, email and phone by default; the organiser decides which are asked and which are required, and writes the consent line themselves. Nothing is recorded without the box being ticked.

CSV reports

The full guest list with timestamps and consent, exported on demand and safe to open in Excel. Counts of photos taken and shares started come with it.

A page per event

Each event lives at its own address with its own name in the URL, so the QR is unmistakably for that event. When it finishes, the page says so instead of quietly still working.

Accessible and keyboard-friendly

Real focus outlines, labelled controls, live status messages, a skip link, and honoured reduced-motion settings. Frames can be chosen and adjusted without a touchscreen.

Private by construction

Photos are composited in the browser and never uploaded, so there is no gallery of guests’ faces to leak. Details are deleted on the date the consent line promises.

For organisers

Run it yourself, from the console

Everything the booth does is set up and watched from one place, on a laptop or on your phone at the venue. No call needed to start.

Set it up yourself

Sign up with your email, make the event, and write every word a guest reads: the welcome, the form, the caption, what the page says when the booth is paused or over. Your first event is free.

Frames, checked for you

Upload your designer’s artwork in portrait and landscape. The console finds the photo window, cuts out one that was painted over, and shows each frame with a sample photo in it, drawn the way the booth draws it.

Words for each day

The caption guests start with, and up to three groups of options with the days each one shows on. You decide whether guests may change the words before they share.

Consent that fits your country

Choose the details you ask for, or none, and whether before the photo or after it. The consent wording starts from your country’s rules and names every way you will contact people; the deletion date is printed beside the box.

Preview, then publish

A private link opens the booth exactly as guests will see it, and nothing done there counts. A checklist says what is missing before you publish; an earlier version is one click away, and you can pause the booth with your own message.

One code, and the kit to share it

Your printed code opens whichever event is active, so next year’s needs no reprint. Share gives you a post and a story for social media with your event page’s QR, and the words with your hashtags.

See what happened

How many opened the booth, made a photo and shared it; which frames were picked and which were shared; the caption people chose; the busiest hours; how many opened it from another country. Counts, never people.

The guest list, and the event pack

Download the details guests chose to leave, as a spreadsheet, with the consent each one gave. At the end, the whole event in one file: frames, the code, the list, the consent records and the numbers.

Your team, and what changed

Bring in two colleagues as editors or viewers. Every change - a publish, a download, a new teammate - is in History, with who made it and when.

What it deliberately does not do

Anyone who tells you otherwise is describing something a phone browser cannot actually do.

Post to a Story by itself

No platform allows a web page to publish to a Status or Story on someone’s behalf. We hand the finished image to the app; the guest taps post.

Keep anyone’s photo

There is no upload step and no server copy — which also means we cannot re-send a photo a guest lost. Download exists for exactly that reason.

Tag your page for them

Instagram and Facebook both refuse text handed over by a share sheet — it is their policy, not an oversight of ours — so no caption, hashtag or @mention can be placed in their composer without the guest pasting it. Put the handle in the frame artwork and it travels on every platform, in the picture itself.

Tell you whether they posted

Once the share sheet opens, what happens next belongs to the guest and their app. We can count shares started, never shares completed.
