Everything the booth does
Written plainly, because half of this page exists to stop people expecting things no phone browser can do. Where something is not possible, it says so.
Capture or upload
The camera opens at the exact shape of the frame’s photo window, front camera first with a flip to the back. Or pick a photo already on the device and drag and pinch it into place — the same preview either way.
Frames the organiser designs
Portrait and landscape sets, as many as you like. A guest chooses the shape, then the frame, and the photo appears inside it immediately — no guessing what it will look like.
Native sharing
One tap opens the phone’s own share sheet with the finished image attached: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Telegram, Messages — whatever that phone has.
Captions and hashtags
Pre-written by the organiser and dropped in the box for the guest, who can rewrite any of it before posting. On the apps that ignore attached text, Copy caption puts it on the clipboard.
Guest details, with consent
Name, email and phone by default; the organiser decides which are asked and which are required, and writes the consent line themselves. Nothing is recorded without the box being ticked.
CSV reports
The full guest list with timestamps and consent, exported on demand and safe to open in Excel. Counts of photos taken and shares started come with it.
A page per event
Each event lives at its own address with its own name in the URL, so the QR is unmistakably for that event. When it finishes, the page says so instead of quietly still working.
Accessible and keyboard-friendly
Real focus outlines, labelled controls, live status messages, a skip link, and honoured reduced-motion settings. Frames can be chosen and adjusted without a touchscreen.
Private by construction
Photos are composited in the browser and never uploaded, so there is no gallery of guests’ faces to leak. Details are deleted on the date the consent line promises.
What it deliberately does not do
Anyone who tells you otherwise is describing something a phone browser cannot actually do.
Post to a Story by itself
No platform allows a web page to publish to a Status or Story on someone’s behalf. We hand the finished image to the app; the guest taps post.
Keep anyone’s photo
There is no upload step and no server copy — which also means we cannot re-send a photo a guest lost. Download exists for exactly that reason.
Tell you whether they posted
Once the share sheet opens, what happens next belongs to the guest and their app. We can count shares started, never shares completed.
